Opening the box
- Turn over the cake. Rotate the wheel at the bottom and set it for each candle separately, so that the cut-out shape matches the shape of the candle under it. Move up the edge of the candle and turn over the cake to make the candle fall. Do this for all 3 candles.
- Set the candles as shown in the photo below. Note: each candle has different base width.
- Set the words «Dance», «Sing», «Smile» by turning the candles as shown in the photo.
- Now rotate the lid of the cake clockwise and open the box.
Resetting the box
Set the the box lid so that the mark «TOP» is on the top left of the words «Happy Birthday».
- Then rotate the lid anti-clockwise to lock it.
- Install the candles and randomize the words.
Turn over the cake and rotate the wheel until any shape matches. Insert the candles:
- the candle with wide legs onto the microphone
- the candle with narrow legs onto the dancing man
- the candle with medium legs onto the smile
If the wheel gets stuck after you place the candles, try to lift the wheel up slightly and then rotate it.
Rotate the wheel randomly. The box is reset.
Inserting age digits
- Place the cake so that «Happy Birthday» caption is on top. The slots for digits are shown in the photo below.
- The digits have 2 circles on their sides. Put the first digit so that its left circle gets inside the square hole on the outer part of the cake; while the right circle is on the left of the round ledge of the cake (see the photo below).
- Make sure the digit is lying and touching the bottom with all its surface. Then, holding the digit with two fingers on top and at the bottom, move it slightly down — the right circle will get under the round ledge.
Attention: remember to hold the digit at both ends while moving it, otherwise you can damage it!
- Do the same for the right digit.
